Sunday was a big day for many one in particular Parris Campbell out of Akron,Ohio St. Vincent St. Mary Highschool the 2nd round pick of the Indianapolis Colts.
Parris who ran a muck at Thee Ohio State University realized his dream this past Sunday by playing in his first ever NFL game. After being drafted 2 round pick 59 by the Indianapolis Colts a team in who were recently hit by the sudden retirement of their perennial Pro Bowl quarterback Andrew Luck was sure to be favorable connection to go along with Pro Bowl receiver TY Hilton. Campbell however didn’t have the Pro debut that he may have dreamed of. He had one reception for one yard and one carry for seven yards in Sunday's loss to the Chargers. Campbell played 18 snaps on offense, and also averaged 22 yards on two kick returns. Campbell had a minimal role in the offense Week 1, but he could get more playing time with Devin Funchess breaking a collarbone in the week 1 loss. It wasn’t surprising that Campbell emerged as the head kickoff returner, and it is thought that he could return punts as well, So he'll have some extra value in future fantasy leagues.
However the outcome we are sure that his family, friends, and city are we’ll pleased. We will be keeping a special tab on Parris throughout the season so subscribe and stay tuned for the fireworks.
