Ohio State stand out defensive end Chase Young is out again and won’t be available for the game this Saturday against Rutgers.
Chase Young who has burst on the national scene this season with a crazy stat line of 13.5 sacks & 5 forced fumbles in only 5 games this season. Was recently suspended from playing for accepting cash from a family friend to fly his girlfriend to his bowl game last year. It was originally said that the star defensive lineman would be out 1 game, but it’s been recently reported he’ll miss this weekend as well.
Thank goodness we're as deep as we are at all positions or it may hurt us. Ohio State handled business last week with a 73-14 win over Big Ten Conference foe Maryland. Behind the play of the other Heisman Trophy candidate Quarterback Justin Fields the game was a breeze. Even Youngs back up had a great game and the defense came through with 7 sacks on the day. This should be another warm up game for the Buckeyes, but we never know. Always be aware of the upset, and never underestimate an opponent.
