Romeo Travis proved to the Akron community that there is more than one MVP from the area. As of last Sunday Romeo Travis won The Un ex voisin championship of France, and was named the finals MVP.
It really doesn't even start there for the year Romeo had for his ball club, 1st being named Forward of the Year playing for the Le Mans Sartha Basket ball club of the LNB Pro A. A league that included ex NBA player Boris Diaw formally of the championship San Antonio Spurs. Romeo started his lengthy stint across seas in 2007 playing with Cantabria Lobos. In his 2nd placement with the Le Mans team Romeo achieved the ultimate goal, NBA or not we are all in it to win it, and not only did he do that he was recognized as the Most Valuable Part of the Equation.
