She’s back the Legendary Missy Misdemeanor Elliot has finally given us something. Maybe not a full project... but something.
From the outset Missy gives us the energy that we’ve come to love from her with Throwback a club banger that’s sure to have a viral dance to it. Missy has been off the release radar for 14 years but doesn’t want the people to think she’s on a hammock somewhere. Missy who is up for the MTV Video Vanguard award releases her album to not only make a statement but Re introduce herself to the younger generation who just might not know how dope the Hip Hop Icon is. Track 2 “Cool Off” is another high tempo track that will keep the club pumpin and on another level.
As the Icon has always done before she flips the script with a couple slow down tracks to complete the 5... well 4 track EP killing it with DripDemeanor ft Sum1 who we can only suspect is an artist up under her wing. Ending the project off strong she delivers with Why I Still Love You which is followed up with the A cappella version displaying her versatility front and center. Doing tracks for current high level artist such as Ariana Grande and the more recent rise of Lizzo. Missy Misdemeanor Elliot has never truly went anywhere.
