Florida resident Micheal Drejka was found guilty of manslaughter for the murder of Markeis McGlockton an unarmed black man protecting his family.
Last July Mr. McGlockton emerged from a neighborhood store and confronted Drejka for harassing his girlfriend over a handicap parking spot. McGlockton shoves Drejka to the ground resulting in him pulling a gun on McGlockton which made him take a step back. Even so Drejka pulled the trigger striking Drejka in the chest and killing him in front of his family.
Micheal McGlockton the father of the deceased stated “I can safely say my family can rest now.” Now we can start putting the pieces together and move on.”
