Chey Dolla out of Akron, Ohio has been working OT dropping his 4th studio album this year entitled Elevation. ðððð
Chey starts the Album by dropping Elevation the title track to it all shouting out his son JoJo off top. The track gives you that real music giving us a walk through his thoughts and what he believes elevation is to him. Definitely something to meditate and grind too. The album is a 10 track effort giving us strong content and raw flow. The Vibe is real laid back & mellow With tracks like Know the Rules My Vision and motivational tracks like Winnin. The album is full of Jewels that we expect from Chey Dolla found on tracks like Cold. The album is definitely something to ride too with tracks like Uh Way Out, Down On Your Luck, and Still Here displaying Dollaâs nack for giving us music we can feel. The album only had two features paving the way for the hungry MC to show his versatility and ability to hold his own.
The album is fire on the chill and good bars side, beats were consistent and flow was also the same. Only for the lack of diversity on the album does it miss our mark.
